WHO
WE ARE:
A firm of chemical and metallurgical consulting
engineers with experience in the chemical, mineral and metals industries. We have
particular expertise in the Caron Process which uses ammonium solutions for
the extraction and recovery of non-ferrous metals. We also have expertise in
the extraction and recovery of uranium using solvent extraction and ion
exchange technologies. Our engineers, many of
whom are members of The Metals Society (TMS)
and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), are dedicated to
the chemical and metallurgical industries and collectively offer many years
of experience. Our organization includes our sister company Prado
Technology Corp. who is engaged in technology transfer.
WHAT
WE CAN DO FOR YOU:
We can provide process development, technology
transfer, basic engineering, pilot plants, detailed engineering, complete
plant design, project management, equipment procurement, and construction
supervision for the following:
- Mineral Beneficiation,
including phosphate
- Ammonia-ammonium
carbonate leaching technology (Caron Process) for the production of
nickel and cobalt.
- Ammonia-ammonium
carbonate leaching technology for the recovery of secondary smelter
dusts, including EAF. This includes recovery of valuable metals such as
zinc, lead, cadmium, copper, and tin. This technology will convert EAF
dusts ("K061" wastes) into valuable products.
- Hydrometallurgy
- Pyrometallurgy
- Recovery and recycling
of nickel, cobalt, copper, zinc, gold, silver, lead, uranium, cadmium
- Waste treatment and
environmental conservation
- Recovery of uranium
from phosphoric acid. Production of uranium yellowcake and black cake.
HOW
WE FUNCTION:
Our engineering staff can develop the technical
solutions to your problems in the area of minerals and metals processing. One
of our senior engineers will be assigned to lead the project team from
completion to end, thus assuring continuity and responsiveness. We can
provide process development, followed by basic engineering, detail design
equipment procurement, and project management. All our design is done on
AutoCAD. All of our specialist engineers are licensed professional engineers in
Florida, many other states of the USA and in the European Union. Our work can
be done in association with our sister company Prado Technology Corp.
